The Orca Dive Club Abu Dabab located within the new Abu Dabab Diving Lodge*** opened its doors in Febuary 2006.
It's situated on the beautiful and sheltered bay of Marsa Abu Dabab directly on the beach. With a transfer time of just 20mins. to the international airport in Marsa Alam.
Dive excursions are conducted by zodiac which depart directly in front of the dive club. For those who want it a bit more comfortable there is the world famous house reef of Abu Dabab to discover.
Those of you seeking nightlife will not find any in Abu Dabab so it is the ideal place to dive and relax. This lodge was designed and developed for divers, with its 62 charming guest rooms divided into double bungalows and large swimming pool you are able to get the most out of your diving holiday. Guest are also able to use the sport and entertainment facilities in the near by Kahramana Resort Marsa Alam****.
The Orca Dive Club Abu Dabab is open all year round. Daily from 8am until 6pm, you will therefore always find a friendly face to answer your questions competently. The opening hours also allow you the flexibility to get the most out of your diving holiday as check-in/out can be arranged to suit you.
Our state-of-the-art, modern well maintained rental equipment is from the most reputable scuba equipment manufacturers. 30 complete sets of equipment are at your disposal as well as "Kids" dedicated rental equipment for those smaller visitors who are able to discover the underwater wonders off Abu Dabab.
There is no need to worry about running low on air at the Orca Dive Club Abu Dabab. 130 standard 12ltr. aluminum tanks at your disposal as well as 6 aluminum 8ltr. tanks for "Kids". True to the Orca philosophy of "safety first" all cylinders are tested in accordance with international cylinder testing guidelines. Regular valve servicing and visual inspections are only a few of the rigorous in house test procedures that equipment must go through. All tanks can be used as DIN/INT connections.
We at the Orca Dive Club Abu Dabab are very proud of our state-of-the-art filling system. One Bauer Kap 14 (350ltr/min.) and 1 L+W 450 capable for delivering 450ltr/min of air as well as a powerful nitrox membrane filling system (450ltr/min) can cope with the most demanding situations.
Constant inspections, servicing and air quality testing is carried out by Bauer Kompresoren Egypt guaranteeing only the purest quaility breathing air 365 days a year.
Your valuable dive equipment is safe in our spacious dryroom. With numerous large fresh water rinse tanks 1 only for regs. computers and cameras your sure to get all the salt out of your equipment.These dedicated storage areas are well ventilated so that your gear can dry before your departure. The dryrooms are open from 8am until 6pm and remain locked at all other times. Our own night security personnel keep a whatchful eye on your equipment.
In our small boutique you will find a large selection of holiday souvenirs. We stock a variety of T-shirts, sweatshirts/fleeces, shorts, trousers, skirts and much more from the Orca collection. You will also find divesite guides and marinelife identification guides available.
